1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name and email, astrologer listing information such as business contact details and profile content, visitor enquiries and reviews, contact-form messages, technical logs and security information, and payment-reference information returned by payment providers.

2. Payment information

ChooseAstrologer does not store full card numbers, CVV values or online-banking credentials. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Razorpay or Stripe. We may store payment IDs, provider names, amounts, currency, status, billing term and timestamps for billing and audit purposes.

3. How information is used

Information is used to operate the directory, authenticate accounts, publish approved profiles, route enquiries, moderate reviews, administer verification and paid listings, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security and improve the service.

4. Public profile information

Information submitted for a published astrologer listing may be visible publicly, including display name, headline, bio, service area, services, languages, consultation options, profile image and any public contact details the astrologer chooses to provide.

5. Enquiries and reviews

Enquiry contact details are intended for the listed astrologer and platform administration. Approved reviews may be shown publicly with the reviewer name and review content. Reviews may be moderated, rejected or removed for safety, authenticity or policy reasons.

6. Cookies and authentication

Authentication cookies and similar storage may be used to keep signed-in users authenticated and to support security. Payment providers may use their own cookies or storage according to their policies.

7. Data sharing

We may share information with service providers needed to operate the platform, including hosting, database, authentication and payment providers. We do not sell user conversations or account data to advertisers.

8. Security and retention

We use access controls, row-level database security, server-side payment verification and reasonable technical safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, disputes, fraud prevention and accounting.

9. Your choices

You may update your astrologer listing through your dashboard. For access, correction or deletion requests that cannot be completed in the dashboard, contact us. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention or financial-record purposes.
